Religion has had a major influence on our development throughout the world, and religious poems have reflected those influences on countries and on individuals. Religious poems have influenced individual faith and have been used to encourage worship during all the great religious celebrations. There is religious poetry about all the feast days including Easter poems and Christmas poems. It is not only Christianity. All the major worlds religions have a tradition of poetry calling believers to worship or prayer, or reminding believers what their God has done for them.
