I Love It

I love it.

I love the way the stars come out, and twinkle in the night,
They remind me of our happiness and tell me that you might.

Poems:

What Is Love

What is Love?

Love is pain and anguish, a tearing of the heart,
A moment's separation, too long to be apart.

Poems:

Recession

There was a young man in the bank,
Who thought it a wonderful prank,
To purchase sub-prime,
He thought it sublime,
That stupid young man in the bank.

There was an old man in the city,
For brains he had none, what a pitty.
To buy his estate,
His bonus did take,
That stupid old man in the city.

The public had little to spend,
Recession it wouldn't soon end.
So they saved what they had,
And thought it was bad,
The public with nothing to spend.

Grandad

Grandad, you were just a lad,
So many years ago.
You had your loves and had your dreams,
You watched us come and go.

You watched us make the same mistakes,
That you had made before,
But that just made you hold us tight,
And love us all the more.

Stena Line From Harwich

Stena Line all clear and white,
Except the funnel shining red.
Crew alert and working hard,
Passengers are all a bed.

Through the night it sails the sea,
Sometimes calm and sometimes rough.
Harwich port left far behind,
Sea sick souls have had enough.

Valentine Love Poem

At Valentine will you be mine,
Or will you leave me here to pine?
I know I’ve asked you lots before,
But now I’m asking one time more.

Poems:

Christmas Joy

Christmas bells and Christmas jingle,
Christmas joy and Christmas tingle.
Christmas trees and presents too,
Toys for me and toys for you.

Joshua

I'm Joshua ... I'm popular.
I captured all of Jericho.
But how the heck it happened
I guess I'll never know.

Your Love Makes Me Complete

Your love is like the glue,
That binds my broken heart.
And holds us both together,
Those times we are apart.

Your smile is the sun ray,
That warms my frozen soul.
Melting us together like
A flowing loving whole.

Poems:

Still I Will Love You

A love Poem, “Still I Will Love You”

If my tears should dry,
And I no longer cry;
I will still love you.

If my heart should mend,
And from despair ascend;
I will still love you.
