Aches And Pains
ACHES AND PAINS
She said,”I must make a confession,
I suffer from depression,
And I don’t know how I’m really going to feel.
I get pains inside my head,
As soon as I get out of bed,
And the tension that I suffer, makes me ill.
I get stiffness in my joints,
But to get right to the point,
I think that I am literally, falling apart.
My legs are giving me gyp,
I’ve got a sore right hip,
And I’ve got palpitations with my heart.
My blood pressure is low,
And my urine seems to flow,
Whenever I see water in the sink.
My kidneys sometimes hurt,
When I go to have a squirt,
And my pulse is racing fast, don’t you think?
I suffer from diabetes,
And I think the reason for this is,
I eat too many biscuits, sweets and cakes.
I try to cut down on my salt,
But I think it is the fault,
Of the shops that put the stuff into their bakes.
As I totter down the lane,
Leaning heavily on my cane,
I think my aches and pains are here to stay.
I’ll keep taking all my pills,
To rid me of my ills,
And I know I’ll live to fight another day.”
